As I see in your picture we have two big points(it's were tha wires should be connected).
Do you have some knowledge to do this?
Mean use of a solder machine?

The circuit is enough stronge to hold the heat of soldering iron, yeah some times if the soldering iron is too hot and your hand thrills while soldering on the board then it may be the chance that the connecting prints may came out from the board but mostly no matter how hot the soldering iron is it can't destroy the circuit

Hello ,

I thought to upgrade my firmware because my mp4 player wasn't working anymore (from day 1!)
It seems i did a wrong firmware in it , and now it's locked!
I Can only turn him off by pushing the reset button (you know , in the hole).

I only could recognize the mp4 player as rockusb device ONCE , that's why the ugrade worked.
But it seems it is the wrong firmware.

Windows XP is installing a device driver by default ' mass storage driver' or something , but the only way we can do a firmware is trough the "rockusb" driver (downloaded here btw).

So , I know i can upgrade the firmware , but first my computer must recognise the device as a "rockusb" device , and not as "Rock mp3 device" (or something like that).

BTW : I can upload songs to it , and so on , the device is working , but it seems that the upgrade software only works trough the "rockusb" driver.

Can somebody help me out ?
I'm talking about this player ...

[web:fa264a3c34]http://www.ycibo.com/item/IT/MP4/touch_4G/touch_06.jpg[/web:fa264a3c34]

I'm about to try the HARD WAY , but then again , I don't understand wich chip I must take ???
The Rockchip rk2608a, 2 Samsung 804 chips (I think 1 for sd card ) or the nanya chip ???
Many thanks, Kuoi

Edit :
I just tried it out and guess what !!!
It worked well , and within a minute.
I took the right chip (Samsung) immediatly.
Not working very well for the moment , but I guess I just have to find a good Firmware now.

THANKS , Kuoi
