But now when I get to the last step to load the new firmware it sometimes says device not detected when opening the mp3 utilities so I turn off the player and turn it back on again and open the update utilities again then it says - device switching failed, reconnect device please!-. But now there is life as I get the blank blue screen while its plugged to the computer which it was not doing that before. So we are getting there I think. Thanks!
Hey tadad1 do you know were that mp3 player comes from what brand because i have one similar to it.

Hi there! Here is my problem: I've got Acme v300x mp3 player. One day it just didn't turn on. I couldn't get past acme logo (a.k.a. loading) screen. I tried DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE but when I short pins, computer recognises player as Removable disk. I can't do nothing with it-can't format.
Please help me guys!

Hello!!!
I am new on this forum which I find interesting besides super.
I put on my MP3/MP4 one drove firmware and now I have a blue screen which ignites but without anything more.
I dismounted it and makes all the procedure to repair it with another firmware but I think that I will need this version of the firmware absolutely: XID-91N51-V5 of 2007-05-28/9.0.50/2005-01-09 to repair my MP3/MP4.
Please if somebody has this version of the firmware I hope that it will send a message to me.
I thank you all and all for your questions and especially for your participation in this forum. It is brilliant to have such impassioned people. 8)
