It looks exactly like Nano Clone.

The whole story:

I just got it.And then I made a dump of the original firmware.I tried to make some changes with s1res and it was ok,I changed some times the firmware and upgraded and it was ok.Till I tried to upgrade with another firmware because it has more games. And then I made my player to lay died.
I followed the dead recovery guide.Shorted the pins.Got it on ADFU ode.Upgrade with the 3.5.37 full firmware, format then. After that the player is was in Blue screen like when it was dead. And if I upgrade with the dump of my original firmware (I dont have full version of my original firmware), The upgrade tools says it's 3.2.16 firmware.I upgrade and then NO LIGHT from the player.Just black and nothing.
If it's with other firmware(which shows just blue screen) I can play music and etc but without picture.

Here is the situation it looks like at all:
with the right original dump(3.2.16 the player is black and doesn't work.
with 3.5.37 firmware the player shows only blue light but it can play music, just no pictures.

If you need more info just let me know.
I red a lot, I looked in s1mp3 alot, I talked with some guys at irc from s1mp3 but till now no solution.

Any suggestions ?

Thank you for your help!
P.S. People do not buy Inovix's mpxplayers!!!

I'll post how to fix it as soon as I can

This is how I fixed my Inovix mp3 player known as IMP-5500

I followed the "Dead recovery guide" here and/or at s1mp3.org.
The main problem were the firmwares(the one I'm flashing my mpxplayer with and the one I install after the flashing.)

Working firmware for flashing your Inovix Ipocket (IMP-5500):
http://ivo-pz.com/~if/s1mp3/firmware...7v2.1b%20FM.fw

After the flashing I installed this one:
http://ivo-pz.com/~if/s1mp3/firmwares/imp5500B.bin
It's Chinese or whatever there :) It worked, look for the Settings Menu Icon, then third Option from top to down, then the second and you got English.

But better install this one(I'm currently using it) :
http://ivo-pz.com/~if/s1mp3/firmware...-_19-06-06.bin

The default language is set to English. And someone at inovixeu's forums said that it's faster than others.

From my experience with this crappy Inovix player - do not buy Inovix's players ;-) If you bought one, do not change the firmware (except self changes on it, with s1res for example).

Btw use 3.68 Mp3 utilities for best results with Inovix Ipocket (IMP-5500).

That's all folks.I had gain alot of experience about mpxplayers from this site and from s1mp3 and from #s1mp3 at freenode irc network, so I want to thanks to all who support these.
Just keep the good work.I'll still hang out around so if I can help I would :)
Have a nice day!

Hi andyp8520,

Do you have a similar player though?
Remember, you need to make sure you get a firmware that is COMPATIBLE with your player.

Best to open your player up and have a look for the Chipset and board ID numbers on it so you can do a search for it to see if you can find one similar.

Have a look here http://www.mympxplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=43736 - that should help you.
