rockerenator,

Have you run the 'repair.bat' file on the dump.bin file you extracted before using it to update your player?

rockerenator, Copy your dump.bin to the s1fwx folder and run repair.bat then try to upload to your player. The file must be called dump.bin.

rockerenator

Great news.
So running the "repair.bat" fixed the problem? Or was it something else you do to fix the problem? Love to hear how you got it fixed so next time anyone else who reads this knows what to do .

rockerenator, dump.bis is your original unrepaired firmware. s1fwx just renames it after it repairs it, you can delete that.
