Default Need HELP please for a dead MP4

Hello everybody,

I upload the firmware of my MP4 with a bad one and now I have a blue screen

This is the Main board of my MP4 : MP693C-SL main V1.3 2005.12.14, at first I had a firmware 3.5.35. You can see it on this link http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

I know how to put it in recovery mode and everything... I need a good flash which will work on mine. For giving him an other life, does I need to flash it in recovery mode or there is no difference.

Thanks by advance for your response and sorry for my English.

Jeremy.

jeremy007, Follow the DEAD PLAYER GUIDE HERE
This is a full patched version of the MP693C-SL main firmware HERE that may work with your player.

Let me know how you go.

Thanks for helping me. Unfortunately this firmware didn't give him an other life. I still have the same problem : THE BLUE SCREEN

I flahed it in recovery mode, the flash was correct but I have the same problem.

jeremy007, You still have not found the right firmware for your player, you will have to try different firmware until you find one that is compatible.

Thanks you for helping me Loobyloo and tatad1.
Loobyloo, I'll try your firmware this evening when I'll come back at home.

I HOPE THAT THIS ONE WILL BE THE GOOD ONE

I have also created a section called "Full Firmware" in the [Downloads] --> [Firmware] section. There you will find full firmwares which might help you with recovering your player. Once you have loaded a full firmware, you should then be able to put on the correct firmware that is suitable for your player. You may need to do some trialling to get the right one though.

Good luck.

Unfortunately nothing is good, I tested all the firmware in the full firmware section, some of them killed him (black screen) others one give him a blue screen...

THANKS,
JEREMY

jeremy007,
In most cases the full version firmware will not restore you player completely, you will need to flash your player twice.
Once you are in the recovery mode you need to use a full firmware to load the boot files etc. When you have done that you can use your backup dump or try different dump.bin until you find one that works on your player.
