dead or not? help!
hey. i got a nano clone mp3/mp4 in the mail yesterday. i charged it up for a few hours and turned it on and nothing happened. i read the thing about dead players and i was wondering if it would work to start it up that way? it doesnt turn on or activate anything when i plug it into the USB. should i get a multimeter and check the batterey, switch etc..?
here is a pic http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...17752_full.jpg thanks |
mik641, If you just got it and it will not charge or work the first thing you should do is contact the seller for replacement. If you open it and attempt a dead player recovery you will void any warrenty you may have and if it is faulty it will not fix it anyway. If you got it from Bestbuynz as in photo they should be pretty good at replacing it for you.

mik641,
The player should work when plugged in to USB if the battery is charged or not. The player must also be turned on to charge. You should see a USB connected image when it is connected to your PC. Does it show up in Windows Explorer? If it is not working when connected to you PC a dead player recovery is not going to help. |
