Safe way to remove the MP4

When the MP4 is connected to the computer, it is detected as a
recognisible disk.When I press the MP4 scroll button,the recognisible
disk disappears from the taskbar.Is it a safe way to remove the MP4?

sachitmaskey, It is the same method that I use and I have never had a problem with doing it this way.
