appear the error: " Unknown flash type!" and the display turn on blue screan! If i turn off the player and i turn on the display is black. I try with all fimware that there are in this forum. I don't find the right firmware! And i don't view in "my computer" the device Please help! :( Sorry for my english  |
bianchidavide, What version of MP3 Player Utilities are you using?
When in recovery mode are you flashing with a Full Version Firmware or a dump.bin? |
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!

Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
sei riuscito a risolvere?
sono anche io nella tua stessa situazione... |
bianchidavide, Have you been able to flash any firmware to it since it has been in recovery state?
|
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
tadad1, When i put the player in recovery state i put the firmware and the player start in blue screen but in the second step, when i try to put the full firmware, i started the upgrade tool and my player turn off and automatly turn on with this error: "Device switching failed, reconnect device please!"
Help please! :( Another question: If in the first step i put one full firmware, my player start correctly or is necessary two step? |
bianchidavide,
So I understand, You say "When i put the player in recovery state i put the firmware and the player start in blue screen" What firmware are you using here? And then "but in the second step, when i try to put the full firmware, i started the upgrade tool and my player turn off and automatly turn on with this error: "Device switching failed, reconnect device please!" " What firmware are you using here? Can you give me links to the firmware you are using? |
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!

In the fist step i use this: http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...le&file_id=225 For the second step i try with all the firmware that there are in this page: http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...gory&cat_id=15 For the fist step i try with other full firmware also, but nothing is changed :( |
bianchidavide,
That is ok my friend I hope we can get your player working again. When you install the first firmware what happens to your player? |
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
tadad1, Thanks.
Appear the blue screen  |
bianchidavide, That is good.
When you try to then do step 2 are you able to load a dump.bin on your player? |
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
tadad1, No, because when i open the upgrade tool the player turn off and turn on automatly and the program is not opened with this error: "Device switching failed, reconnect device please!"
|
bianchidavide, Have you tried to short the chip again and try a different full version firmware?
|
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
tadad1 , yes but i have the same result!
One question: is impossible that the player start to work correctly in the first step when i put an full firmware? |
Yes provided you find the right firmware.
|
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
tadad1, I am losing the hopes to find the right firmware
|
bianchidavide.
I am sorry I do not know why your player will not let you try to load a dump file after you install the full version firmware. Have you check the mini CD to see if there is firmware for your player there. You could try to contact your seller and ask if he can send you the firmware or get it from his supplier. I wish I could put my hands on this thing and help you fix it. Where did you buy it from? |
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
tadad1, i buy this player in april when i went in china for work and is impossible to change it! :(
In the mini CD inside the box is all in Chinese language  |
bianchidavide, Are there any .bin files or .fw files on the CD.
|
Re: I think that I don't find the right firmware!
tadad1, I have already watched. there is only one file. the name is LAYOUT.BIN but is only 1 KB. Is impossible that is un firmware
|
bianchidavide, No to small. Sorry my friend I will keep looking for full version firmware for you.
|
