Default Fully Back Up Firmware ?

Hi

How do i fully back up my firmware ?..

my player died after firmware update. recovered it.. now up to this step from the dead player guide

Once installed your player should show signs of life and you will be able to see it in explorer. It still will not be usable but is ready for the final step.

showing blue screen but nothing... gets detected in eplorer..

now i tried uploading my backed up firmare, from my old dump.bin using the s1fwx_v26 .. but it does not work

I have 2 of the same players.....

So how can i extract the full firmware from the other player ?

Cheers
Chris

chriso, It is not possible to extract full firmware just the partial dump. Did you repair your dump after extracting it by running the repair.bat in the s1fwx folder. Also you should use s1fwx 3.0 from the download section.
You may also need to format your player before it will accept your dup
If you repaired your backup and it still will not install try a different full version from the Firmware download section.

yes i made sure i repaired the dump.

the player i have seems to be very different from the others (nano clone version)..

my is smaller (check out my previous post if still exist, theres some photos) about size of a matchbox with a 1.5 screen LCD i think

I will take some photos of the inside, as i have it open now.

The battery seems to be attached with an adhesive on top of the chip.

I can post my old dump if you want

cheers
