mp4 player half-dead
 

HI!

I have mp4 player which i try change firmware and of course this firmware it was wrong :/ I try firmwares with this page but I cannot find this "the One"... I remember that original version of player is 3.5.37. I found this one but wrong all:( It have 2 speaker onboard. Computer find him as a disk (thanks god). It's a images of my mp4:

hellboywb, When you plug your player into your PC and rum the MP3 Upgrade Tool does it find your player?

Tadad1, Yes, program see it and I can change firmware. Windows See it too how disk

tadad1, Original version is 3.5.37

When players is starting viewing a orange flower, just second light and it was wirte "WELCOME".

hellboywb, I have looked through all the firmware that I have and only find one with the orange flower but it is only for 1.2 screen. I have got some with the same menu but they are 3.2.16 that I put together for someone with a player like yours but he could not get it to work.
If you want to try them they are here
http://rapidshare.de/files/24793554/...16_FW.rar.html but your player may stop responding. Have you looked on the mini cd that came with your player to see if there is any firmware on it.
You could contact your seller and ask if he will send you the firmware or get it for you from his supplier.

Sorry but until you find the right firmware there is not much you can do.

tadad1, i cannot download from this web :( Maybe put this file in download if you can. I sent email to seller but he still not responsing. I buy player from internet shop in Allegro. I seeking on mini cd firmware later but i dont find anything :/

hellboywb, If you have tried all the firmware in the download section sorry there is not much I can offer you. As I find new firmware I load it to site.

One question: If I install firmware to mp4 (good FW) it will work normally?I must flash is needed and use program s1fwx too??

hellboywb, If you install the correct firmware to your player yes it will work normally? To flash you need to use the Mp3 Upgrade Tool s1fwx is for copying the firmware from your player to make a backup. I have just made a post for more firmware uploads so keep an eye on the firmware section for some new ones and hopefully one to match your player.

cfbp, thanks for send me FW but it still not correct :roll:
I check in s1res, logo start is different and in this FW is game. I dont have any games on mp4 :twisted:

hellboywb, Some times the FW can contain game images even if no games are on your player, they just have not been activated. If your player is dead you have nothing to lose by trying the firmware. I have managed to put 3 different types of firmware on my nano clone and they all look different. At least it is from the same player so the button configuration will be the same.

sutarianiral, I sent you PM with my adress email. So for this time I found firmware which see me a mp4 how only flash disk 512mb (i have 1gb;/). here is a link, maybe small reconstruction help my mp4 to work correct:)

OK. Now is better. I found FW wchich for mp4 turn on "crazy radio" and see it how 1gb (at last) . that's good i think :) But screen is turning on and off every half second ;] Here is link

I have the same probleme as hellboywb ! i have a similar player in look.
I tried alot of firmwares but wthout any full result, my player firmware is 3.5.37, now its working with other version 3.5.35 which i've extracted it from a plyer looks similar as a dump.bin file, well this last firmware made my player buttons work realy good as usual, but it made it has a white light screen with tow black horizontal black lines, still searching for new things to try :(

ATJ Chip is on the middle, your near down left side. Your player have microphone button near power button. I don't have this one (i have near joystick left side working with replay button). I think that is hard find FW for yourself player because these little inside differents create both other player. :shock: but outside can be this same. Eh. Life is brutal :evil:

I've extracted a firmware from a player looks similar, its v 3.5.35 F/W but my player is blind (white screen with black lines) :( but all other fonctions working great! :)

If you wanna try the dump file i've extracted you can get it from here Here
its from a player without FM radio, but you can try it, and if it works you can merge it with a full 3.5.35 firmware, maybe you'll get your player work again!

You must fix it.
- download S1FWX
- rename firware into dump.bin & place it into folder with s1fwx
- run repair.bat
- update player

well it works with my player, the only bad thing is that its not full compatible with my player, its shows a white screen with black lines!

anyway its not my player firmware version mine is 3.5.37, and that one i sent you is 3.5.35

kivin, no way, it's not works :/ not all FWs i can install to player. this one too..
