Default DIScharging battery

my player's battery is not workin' well, i can use my mp4 but in a short period of hours until the power get totally empty, but the major problem is whenever i charge my player, i'll always have to wait 10 or more hours to get new power for my battery, another problem when i'm charging is it takes (i think) 5 or more hours to make my battery full, & i if ever i consumed 50% of the power i tried to recharge it but instead of rechargin' it will DISCHARGE.
d'ya think i should get new battery or i can shock the battery like what the cellphones technicians does to their customers battery?

b81_kweronggitis, I have not heard of a battery discharging itself before. Are you charging from a PC or from a wall charger?

Sounds like a faulty battery, however, how are you charging your player: If you have a wall charger and have tried charging from your PC and a outlet and you are having the same problem, then its probably a battery issue.

If you are only trying to charge via a wall charger, then try charging from your computer (and if you only charge via your comp, try charging via a outlet).

From being a seller, i can tell you that if you use a wall charger, your battery life will degrade at a much faster rate than if charged via a compter, especially if you leave the player plugged to the outlet after the battery is fully charged.

Don't leave your player plugged into a wall unit for more than 3-4hrs max! (and thats only if the battery was completely drained).
