Default (Solved) Nano Clone Frozen! Help please.

I was listening to music and all of a sudden, it just froze o_O. Now it won't turn off, it just stays at the screen. It's abit weird, any suggestions? It's a 1.5 Inch FW version is 3.35.37, can't be the FW though, I haven't tried anything with it since yesterday and it's been working fine until a little while ago.

Jade Enigma, If it will not even turn off at the on\off switch, then you may have to wait till it completely discharges and the player shutsdown. Once recharged it may be ok. If not then the only way I can think of to is to short the chip as explained in THE DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE which will reset it however you will then need to find a working combination of Full Version Firmware and dump file to recover your player. If you have a backup of your players firmware then you have a pretty good chance of recovering using one of the firmware from the Downloads>Firmware>Full Version section and your backup dump. If you do not have a backup you will need to try random combinations till you strike the right one. This can be a long and frustrating process and is generally only taken if the player is dead and there is no other way to recover it.

Thank ya mate, I had also thought of leaving it alone until the battery discharged, hopefully that works ^_^. But, I DO in fact have multiple back-ups of my FW, thank God eh?

Thanks for your help, I'll try to keep you updated.

Jade Enigma, good news, but I wonder why it hung in the first place. Might pay to ditch the song you were listening to when your player froze as it may be corrupt.
