ramlef, What sort of player do you have?
When you say you have fixed the firmware are you using a different firmware from your players original one?
If so it may have a different button configuration than your player. Another thing you could try is extracting the firmware, repairing it then reloading it.

Re: Volume button not fully functioning

tatad1,
i have a ipod nano look mp4 with a size of 512MB. I try to upgrade my player but i'm failed to upgrade it because i got a worng firmware. But I already got a correct firmware. after i install it, it works. But when i use it, I press the volume. The volume menu didn't appear. But when I press the volume button, the volume decreases... do you have a firmware of ipod nano look mp4 with a firmware of 3.5.37?

ramlef, All the firmware I have are already in the firmware download section. I would say the firmware you have loaded is for a player that has nVol+ amd Vol- buttons. You could try loading the firmware into Waterlily and going to the System Keys tab and setting the keys as follows:
Key1=Play
Key2=Menu
Key3=Prev
Key4=Next
Key5=Null
Key6=Null
Key7=Record
Key8=Null
Key9=Null
Key10=Null
Key11=Null
Key12=Null
Hold=Off

This is how the buttons are configured on my Nano clones.

If that does not work then you will have to keep looking for firmware that suits your player.

You can download Waterliliy HERE

tatad1,
some additional question... can u give the functions of key1-12. example: Key1 - Play....

ramlef, The keys that I gave you are how my nano clone appears in Waterlily and it also has the popup volume menu slider when you push the vol button. You will have to experiment with other settings or try another firmware.
