Default updated with wrong firmware and now it won't turn on


hi guys.. m new hir.. iw ould like to seek for help for my mp4 player, i think i have updated it with a wrong firmware and now it won,t turn on even my pc cant detect it.. sir... are there any remedy for this? my specs are: mp3, amv video, its a 512mb. with two built in speakers at the bottom sides. this is the site that looks like my mp4. http://www.pinoygearph.com/store/fil...0%5B1%5D_m.jpg

chris, If the PC is not detecting your player then you will need to follow the DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE HERE

sir are all players applicable to this guide.. i do ask 1 more thing.. is the tweezers or the metal material somewhat a purpose for shorting 2 pins or likely to be a jumper? thanks sir...

chris, This process works on most if not all players. There are no jumpers on the players and the tweezers are just to create a short circuit between pins on the memory chip which seems to reset the chip and put the player into recovery mode where you can then upload a full version firmware followed by your backup dump.

sir i havent recovered my mp4 still. i have tried to short all the pins in the same chip as showed in the guide.. the only thing i have noticed was that.. there are 2 pins when you will short that, the speakers will hizz, other is that my usb light will dimm.. sir, do you have the exact pin to short it? and i really appreciate your site.. thanks..

chris, It seems to work for me on any pins left side, right side even across from side to side. I usually just open the tweezers about 10mm and drag it along 1 side of the chip connecting multiple pins and it always seems to work.
