can't open 1.5" player + Pics
 

I tried to follow the Dead player guide, But i don't have the screws mentioned in the guide.
Can anyone tell me how to open this player ?

fish72, If there are any adhesive labels on the back of your player you may find the screws under them.

There was a serial number label, I peeled it off, But saw no screws...

fish72, if there are no external screws at all then it most likely has snap fittings which could give you problems as they are generally really tight and you could damage your case trying to open it.

you can ope it , i hav have done it
you open it with something on the larger border , it works
but i havent find the good firmware
if you have it can you say to me witch firmware do you used

I've backed up the original firmware, I just don't know how to open it.
What do you mean by larger border ? Which part of the border ? Near the corners ? Does the metal comes off ?

you must put something between the metal and the plastique part and forced a little bit
i have deformed the metal block a little.
no not near the border in the middle
i have the mp4 4 gb and you?
