d3soe, If you bought your player as an 8GB player it is a fake, they are not made in 8GB. What is the make/brand and serial number of your memory chip (the largest chip on the board)?

Thanx for responses,
1) lattesurf n tadad1, Yes I did, the encrypt slide was at minimum position (0 MB) when formatting. Before formatting, Windows and Disk tool already recognized 46.24 MB only. I was anxious to find out about memory size and last night I opened the player but unfortunately marking of memory chip unreadable clearly (bad fake!). Chip is Samsung made and code number like K9F 1??????. I have plan to replace it with the right one.......if available in local, because I can only add 4 WMA files now. tadad1, have you any suggestion for replacement ? (suppose we have proper de/soldering tools).
Btw I found information about memories from S1mp3.org and hopefully it will be helpfull for mailers :
-------------------------------------------------------------------
real size of SAMSUNG chip here:
• K9x1Gxxxxx = 1Gb (GigaBit) = 128MB (MegaByte)
• K9x2Gxxxxx = 2Gb (GigaBit) = 256MB (MegaByte)
• K9x4Gxxxxx = 4Gb (GigaBit) = 512MB (MegaByte)
• K9x8Gxxxxx = 8Gb (GigaBit) = 1024MB (MegaByte)
• K9xAGxxxxx = 2x K9K8G08U0M = 16Gb (GigaBit) = 2048MB (MegaByte)
• (1 Byte = 8 bits)

real size of HYNIX chip here:
• HY27UH081G2M = 1Gb (GigaBit) = 128MB (MegaByte)
• HY27UH082G2M = 2Gb (GigaBit) = 256MB (MegaByte)
• HY27UH084G2M = 4Gb (GigaBit) = 512MB (MegaByte)
• HY27UH088G2M = 8Gb (GigaBit) = 1024MB (MegaByte)
• (1 Byte = 8 bits)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Who knows price figure for above memories?

2) lattesurf, I am agree with you. I didn't find FM Tuner chip on board (I didn't look at back side of board).

3) tadad1, I forgot to back up the original F/W (3.5.35) before upgrading, how can I reload it (downgrade), or is there any alternative in order FM Radio not appear on Menu?

Mine
Processor: ATJ2085W

d3soe, I have not tried it but Waterlily has an option for selecting and de-selection FM and other features on the first page you could give it a try. Once you have made your changes you have to upload it straight to your player by using the Download button because Waterlily can not save to a .bin file.
You can download Waterlily HERE
