Hourglass on screen
 

Hi,
I got an 8 gig nano copy a while ago, and it had been working fine untill for some reason it stopped working.
It now displays an hourglass on a blue back ground. It stays on that screen and wont do anything.
When i connect it to my computer it doesn't get recognised at all.

Before this happened, it was starting to not let me delete any mp3 files.

Any help would be great.

yeah the same thing happended to me, i'm taking back to they guy to find out i guess.

Seems like you guys probably have a hacked memory player. The symptoms of not being able to delete files and player restarting without any reason are of exceeding the actual real memory.

You could try formatting the player with the MP3 utilities Disk Tool, or HP Format Tool. See if it solves the problem. But be prepared that you might not regain the "original" amount of memory space when you 1st got it.

If so, it would be adviseable to contact your seller to resolve the memory issue, usually by full refund.
