need correct firmware, cant find it
I stupidly messed with the firmware... now im scared it'll never be recovered. anyway, I made a firmware dump before i did, but now i cant find a firmware full to use, im 99% sure it'd be the same as used for this file: http://www.mympxplayer.org/dload.php...le&file_id=276 scince my images were the same before and the size of the dumps is exactly the same (mine and his) If anybody knows or has used something please let me know, im desperate to solving this problem >_<
I should let you know its a 4gb nano clone (2 actual gigs) and the version info i had before i messed said something about: 3.5.37-001 ACTS16D_37 Actually my biggest problem is that I cant seem to get it to show up in Explorer even after I successfully install a firmware, i just get a blue screen. I would tell you the chip and board number but i cant find them O_o |
Re: need correct firmware, cant find it
Skiwan, If your player is not connecting with Windows and you are unable to use the Upgrade tool you will need to short the memory chip to reset it. You can find a walkthrough of the steps you need to take to recover your player in The Dead Player Recovery Guide HERE. Read the guide fully before you start so that you can assemble all the files you need and with your backup dump you should be able to recover your player.

i'd also like to add for some reason it wont let me add anymore firmware on now, it stops about 1/5 th of the way through and comes up with an error. |
