cannot connect it to pc
 

my mp4 player is not dead but, i have a problem with that red circled part below and because of that i cannot connect it to pc...
when i connect it it restart the mp4 player..
how can i solve it?

Just to be sure, you've tried a different USB cable and different COMPUTER as well?

I just want to make sure that the problem is definately with the USB connector on your player and not something else like the USB cable (it has happened a few times in the past) or a problem with the computer.....

i tried on a different pc but not with not a different cable because i just see some of little plastic things between metal things(on mp4 player) are not there.. i think it causes because of that i need to change that part.. but how?

To replace the part you would have to release the 4 mount points and the solder from the 5 wire cable connection. Clean and remove all the old solder and then refit and solder a new 5 pin mini usb connector.

This is not an easy job and certainly not something you should attempt without experience in this type of repair as you could easily damage the mainboard and make the problem worse.

An electronics or mobile phone repair center may be able to help.
