Sergy,
How did your player die?
Do you have a backup of your original firmware?
Have you tried loading firmware to your player?
Do you get any messages when you try to load firmware to your player?

Hihi.
Ok. I’ll try to tell you more step by step.
1. My player died when i switch it off from data-cable (which connected to my PC) not using the “secure disconnexion”, then I tried to turn it on, but it was only blue screen and nothing else.
2. Unfortunately, I have no backup of my player therefore I came here to find the solve of my problem…
3. Yes, I’ve tried to load some f/w located on this site, but I have no clear idea what kind of f/w my player requires…
4. When I try to load f/w I got some messages like “This f/w is not supported by this type of device” and screen is still blue and (I repeat) my PC define it as ADFU device. I tried to load f/w downloaded here: http://www.mympxplayer.org/dload.php...ile&file_id=56. but it didn’t help me (perhaps ‘cause my player has 512 Mb memory). At the same time menu of admin’s player is exactly such as mine.

What should I do next?
Any questions concerning to my playa – I’ll answer them!

Wowland, If your player is being recognised as an ADFU Device it is in recovery mode and will not accept a standard firmware dump. You will need to use a full version firmware, there are a few on site HERE.
Once you have loaded a full firmware your player should then appear as a removable storage device and you should be able to load standard firmware dump.bin.
Finding the right firmware may require some searching. I suggest you download s1res HERE. You can use s1res to look inside the firmware and see the images used for menus, start and shutdown screens etc. Try and find ones that use the same images as your original firmware.

So just to be clear

1. Load a full version firmware to ADFU Device then format your player.
2. Download and check some firmware dump files with s1res.
3. Try loading any firmware you find that have similar images as your original firmware had.

Let me know how you progress.

Howdy, pal!
Sorry that I didn't reply to you, 'cause I'd got no time to connect to Internet (was very busy)
So, in a day or two I'll try to follow instructions you gave me.
And of course I'll tell you the result.
Thanx 4 good things which you doin'.
Sincerely yours. :P

Unfortunately, when I try to load a full version firmware placed there, I've a problem which you can see below:

The flash error can be because :
1) You are uploading dump files when your palyer is in recovery mode. NO ! You have to uupload FULL firmware
2) The firmware don t linke your player
Your chip code is ANP2085 I think... but the photo is too bad to make me see it exactly... so look for it...
3) You have uploaded bad full firmware - you should connect the pins again !

geni , what Groovy meant was the shorting of the pins as outlined in the Dead Player Recovery guide Here. But only short the pins IF the MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool does not detect your player.
