I recovered my player!
 

i managed to recover my dead player by taking 2 files form cd what was in the mp3/mp4 package and intalled it into mp3 player.

BUT

i'll accept that i lost 2 Gb out of 4 but i can use only 580 mb form 2 gb now coputer shows that 1.97 gb is free butplayer shows 580. how can I reapoir it?

Congratulations on recovering your player.
Are you able to upload the two files you used from your cd to the site? This might be very helpful for others in the same situation.

I'm sorry to say this but a 4GB player doesn't exist for these players! You have a player that has been hacked to show 4GB when the physical memory chip used isn't 4GB. By recovering your player and flushing out this hack, you were able to show your player's true memory size.
