Re: DEAD SONY ( FAKE ) PLAYER

Have a read of the DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE from the [Forum] --> [Dead Players] section.

It will help you recover your player.

Then go to: [Downloads] --> [Firmware] section and choose "Full Firmware" and try to find an appropriate one for your player.

Good luck.

I have the same problem with you mani. I have bought a fake sony mp4 player and tried to upgrade it's firmware but it became a deadplayer. So I tried to recover it by following steps on Dead Player forum but it didn't work!! When I tried to upgrade it's driver with "AdfuUpdate.inf" but it didn't work!! I have now a big problem how to fix this player.. If anyone knows how to fix this kind of problem pls P.M me, thank you.

Hi mani,

Have a look at this post here:

http://www.mympxplayer.org/s1-mp3-pl...et-vt8747.html

It will require you to open up your player though to find the board and chipset numbers/versions.

This will help more in finding a compatible firmware.

Or you can find your firmware here:

www.s1mp3.net
