Got to the blue screen on the Dead Player Recovery Guide.

Tried to pimp it up but failed

So now to ask you nice people if you can send me the firmware as it is for my daughters birthday on Tuesday and cannot get another until next Friday...

Before I pressed the download button which I thought was download to the computer not download to the player I managed to write down this information.

Now look at the time between the 2 posts, thats how long it took me to get it sorted (plus the 9 hours before hand too).

Anyway managed to get the correct file in default chinese , so if you lost your baby firmware this may help.

Congrats on recovering your player.
Maybe admin can start a new knowledge base thread on a list of recovered players, with the pictures, firmware, and player specs.
Would be kinda helpful though.

That would save people time...

The player is fine now, took a while to guess how to change the language from Chinese to English. No visual difference to the origional firmware but this is an earlier version.
