gowan, Sorry to hear this . All you can do is keep trying firmware till you find the right one as there are 100's of different 3.5.37 and it is not possible to tell you which one is going to work on your player. Keep searching.

I can recognize the firmware that should go seeing the images of the display, shouldn't I?
I got the version with the spheres under the main image that scrolls horizontally and not vertically..
If someone know which is, please tell me..
I keep searching!

Oh, the system shoot down with a doggie image..

gowan, Do you mean like this?

Also even if the images are the same it still may not be the right firmware.

the spheres are the same but the main object style is different.
Do I have to open my mp4 to read the chip?

this is the exact look of my mp4 reader:

On the chip is written:

Samsung 631
K9WAG08U1A
PCB0

I tried this way to fix but it didn't work..

gowan. While it is helpful most people only know their firmware version number and not the chip numbers so they do not list the information when they upload their dumps.
Is your player a 1.5 LCD ?

gowan 8th Oct 2006 11:06 am

no it's a 1.8"

tadad1 8th Oct 2006 6:12 pm

gowan, There are a couple of 1.8 firmware in the 1.8 firmware download section that have similar menus. I suggest you download some firmware, use s1res to open them and look for ones use the same images as your player and try those.
