Default Help with a MP4 Traicy 512 (Saytes)

I tried to follow the dead player recovery guide, but at the sep of formating the hard disk came the problem. I click on the mounted harddisk and open it. It says, taht there is no format. I click to format and then to fat and format. In that moment it comes an error that says that the harddisk is write proctected. I tried puting this on the registry to disable the write protection, but it doesn't worked:
Quote:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\StorageDevicePolicies]
"WriteProtect"=dword:00000000
The mp4 is accesed by computer and i can try to install the backup i maked, but if i install it, it doesn't work, because of the wrong format.

My mp4 player is this http://www.saytes.es/ficha.asp?Id=11.
The chipsets are the following:

on the back side there ar three chipsets:
hynix kor hy27ug084g2m tpcs 543a -- the big chpset on this side
at j2085 ea182ab cam the with the middle
tea5767 ce5923 03 tpgd5302

If someone has some idea, please makes it me to know.

Thank you to all

it would be good to have the new version of the irmware too, because it has a very old version of the firmware

Open the MP3 Player Disk Tool and go to the Partition Encrypt tab. Move the slider all the way right then back all the way left and press the start button.

Click the image to open in full size.

This will create a new partiton on your player and then format the drive and you should then be able to proceed.

I have already tried it but it worked not. Otherwise I tested it now, the error is when I reconfirm the deletion of the partiton table. The error is the following: "Write error: Can't clear partition table.".
What can i do?

errante, Try connecting the player to another usb port then short the memory chip across from side to side. Using a pair of metal tweezers place them across the chip at one end then drag the tweezers down all the pins. Then try and load a full version firmware.

Yes, but i haven't the full firmware for this mp4.
I will try with what you said, but I need the firmware. I searched but I only founded the version for the mp680-cl-v11 and this is not what I need.

I have now tried it, when I make this, I go to the adfu device. And when I got the normal disk mode, the mp4 is else write protected. Can it be that the problem is, that the firmware on it isn't correct??
