Somebody can help me? looking for FW MP-693C

Hi everybody,

i have a dead player.. i have tried a lots of FW from Download section with no result.
Windows recognized as ADFU but when i flash firmware (some FW give me a blu screen), turn OFF then ON, display is off, Windows still recognized the player as ADFU but when i use MP3 Tools again the software inform me that firmware is in recovery state again.
I dont know what i can do and where a can take a full and proper FW.

My player details:
Flash disk: SAMSUNG K9WAG08U1A
Chip:[ ATJ2085W
LCD: 1.5" 65K
Display no.: FC0340 FREE 060701
Board: MP-693C-SL Main V.1.3 05/14/12
Firmware: Lisong LSD_501_02 SDK V.3.5.37 2006-06-03

MP3 TOOLS si version 4.0.

I have the second player where i can taka the dump file, but of course only dump file do not help me to resolve the problem...

PS i cannot believe how is difficult to find a proper FW. and porper manufacturer..

If you have a backup you could try merging a few of the full versions with your dump. To do that I have uploaded a batch file Merge.bat HERE. Put it in the s1fwx folder with a full version firmware named full.bin and you repaired dump named dump.bin. When you run merge.bat it will extract all the files from dump.bin and copy them into full.bin overwriting all files with the same name and creating a file called merged.bin. Merged.bin is now able to be loaded as a full version firmware. It does not always work and you may have to try merging with a few different full versions but it is worth a try.

There is also a LISONG LSD_502_02 firmware HERE that may help.

Hi tadad1,
pls forgive me to say thanks for your help so late but i was away for work...

So, i have tried last night and results are disaster...
Still dead.. most of firmware say always Read or write error... flash not valid..ect.ect..
The thinghs i dont understand is why must be so difficult to found a proper and full version of firmware.
I understand that are around a lots of model (board) but when you open and read board model, i suppose must be easy found FW.
Never mind, i will try again more times.. maybe one day i discover the proper FW.

I have think to buy a new player with 256mb and replace the flash dish..i can do it without problem... i can take from the dead one the samsung chip (it's 2GB) and use it.
I thnk there are not problem at all.
What do you think about? Work properly?

Now i need a bit of you kind help.
I am sure, i have read a message around where there was instruction to add a second chip over the first one... also there was a pictures and graphic to understand wich pins must be cutted and solder over the first one.
I dont remember if thsi message was in this forum or another one.
Do you have any idea where i can found this message?
