wiredcool24, You will need to follow the Dead Player Recovery Guide HERE to reset your player.

wiredcool24, The process of using the full version firmware is to get your player into a state where it will accept a standard backup dump. The chances that the full version firmware will recover your player on it's own are very slim. If your player will still not accept a backup dump I suggest you short the chip again and apply a different full version firmware then start uploading dump files till you find one that suits your player.

For one of my players I killed it 63 times before I found a suitable dump to recover it so be prepared to spend some time locating the right firmware for your player.

wiredcool24, Is your player visible in explorer or is it in ADFU recovery mode?

wiredcool24, If your player is visible in Explorer you may need to format it. before it will accept the firmware.
