Re: Help here
Noobz11111 , are you on a WinXP system? If so, XP would auto install the required drivers needed to access your player via USB.

Yes. I'm Window XP user. AUTO INSTALL?!!??!....then how can i disactivate it? if not, my mpx will stay in the coffin liao...
editted: after i block the hardware installing in digital signing, i manage to connect the pin again and this time round, i click the inf. file in windows but it gave a error, " the specific location does not contain information for your driver" |
Noobz11111, This is because Windows is not reading the player as an ADFU Device I suggest you disconnect the player and short it whilst disconnected but this time across the chip from side to side. Then reconnect the player to a USB port that you have not tried before. The only way that I have found to get past this point is to keep shorting the chip in different places until you are able to install the ADFU driver. I know this is very frustrating and you may have to repeat the process many times.

Noobz11111, None of those will help you have to select "have disk" and browse to the AdfuUpdate.inf. If you can not get your player recognised as an ADFU Device you can not recover it. There is no other driver that will allow you to upload firmware.
