Does your computer detect your player as a drive or something else? If you are able to flash you player with another firmware, it means your computer is detecting your player as a drive, which is a good thing. Did you happen to make a backup of your player's firmware before flashing it with something else? What the blue screen problem would be is just a corrupt section of the memory and you could possibly fix it by formatting the player instead of flashing it with another firmware. |
Re: Player has a blue screen
Im not sure what it says it is.
I can flash it to a different firmware. I made a back up and used it and still shows a blue screen I formated it and it still shows a blue screen Any other ideas :?: |
vstro24, You may need to load a full version firmware then load your backup dump. If your player is still being detected by the upgrade tool you do not need to use the Dead Player Recovery process.
There are some full version firmware here http://www.mympxplayer.org/full-firmware-dc35.html It does not need to be an exact match for your player but it will install some neccessary files that are not in your backup. Use one that matches your players screen size and version number if possible. You may also need to try a couple. If your player stops being recognised by the upgrade tool then you will need to use the Dead Player Recovery Guide to do a hard reset. |
