Player restards when using Record

I have a problem with my player.

Each time I want to start the Voice Record program the player shows the yellow screen with the hourglass and restarts.

I recovered the original firmware I extracted when I got the player, but this doesnt change anything.

my Player is a Nano 2 GB Clone

Does anyone have an idea what I can do? Please help me.

mars-online , try formatting your player with the MP3 Utilities Disk Tool or HP Format Tool 1st. A memory hack could be causing the restarts.
If after the format, the problem still persists, likely that the internal hardware components has some problems. i'll suggest that you contact your seller for an exchange if it reaches this stage.

How do I remove a eventualy hack?

What exactly do I have to do?

mars-online, you just need to format it with the programs i mentioned earlier. The format would remove any memory hacks.

i got the same problem as mars online but its after i formated it
