usually it is because your memory Flash has dirt,so its legs has connected, you can use a brush to clean its 16 legs, the best method is using a electric tool to heat its 16 legs again!

well i have saw all your conversation and in that conversation most of the things are very illogical.
Your problem is that when you try to install the firmware (after the message SCANNING THE HARDWARE) it said FLASH WRITE PROTECTED.So that means that your FLASH chip is not responding to the firmware and it is clearly the FLASH IC problem.
The only solution you can try is that take the HOT AIR GUN and apply the paste on the flash IC pins on both side and rehot the flash ic,i am sure with this your problem will be solved.
And if by this too your problem is not solved then replace the FLASH IC.
Throw the tweezer out because the short pin procedure only be used if your mp3 is not detecting as ADFU device and all the hardware of your mp3 is OK.
IF it is detecting the no need of that procedure.
Please be logical and dont run after every thing what you read.
