Default dead chinese MP4 (flash write protected - problem)

Ok, all started when I was copying some music on my MP4. After i finished with it I unpluged it, and after that he never worked againg... Crying or Very sad

Usually when u turn it on, display shows sand clock for few seconds, and than he turns on. Now when u turn it on, it also shows clock, but it doesnt change. I left it for 5 hours and the clock was still there. The other thing was when I pluged it in my computer it didnt recognized it like "USB mass storage device", it was recognized like ADFU device. I downloaded all of firmwires from "S1 MP4 player firmwires", and i tryed to install em on my player. The result was "flash write protected error", and my display turned off. Theres nothing on it now. I tryed all others firmwares, on some it says that is wrong firmware, but on all others when upgrading it says that the flash is write protected. I really dont know what to do anymore.

My board is ATJ2085W, memory is samsung, pls tell me what should I do!

Here is a pic of MP4:

Fixxxer , i assume your player can be detected by the Upgrade Tool? You need to try all the firmwares for your screen size available in the downloads section until you get the right one.

You may want to try formatting with the Disk Tool utility first before proceeding with the firmware flashing.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

That is my problem. I definitely need to format my player, but problem is I can't do that while it is in ADFU mode. I tryed really a lots of firmwares and none of em works. It always says that the "flash is write protected".
I think formatting would solve my problem, but i really dont know how to do that... :?

Fixxxer , try unplugging your player and connecting it to another USB port (preferably 1 that you never connected your player via before).
Also, if you have access to another computer, try your player there.

If all else fails and the problem still persists, there is a thread Here that discusses about disabling the write protect setting through windows registry editting.

Ok, I tryed with another USB ports, I tryed that stuff with registry, I tryed that also on safe mode, and guess what?
Nothing changed. Flash write protected again!

Now tell me is there any way to format my player while in ADFU mode, or hardware format with screwdriver or somethin like that. Any kind of formatting???
Tell me also what firmware should be ideal for it. Or just tell me what to do couse I am screwed... :x

Fixxxer, You could try downloading Product Tool it has an erase flash option that may help.

Fixxxer, I have been doing a bit of research, It appears that some people have overcome this problem by keeping the play button pressed while plugging in and upgrading the firmware. If it does not work with the play button then try each button one at a time.

Another suggestion was disconnect the battery cross the chip and keep crossed while connecting USB.

Fixxxer,
Sorry I thought you had used the Dead Player Recovery Guide.
Basically when a player dies and is not detected by windows and the upgrade tool the player must be opened and the memory chip has to be shorted by crossing some of the pins. This resets the memory chip.

Look at the Guide

http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html

The information on a write protected ADFU Device was that the battery needs to be disconnected so that there is no power going to the chip. The pins of the memory chip then need to be crossed while the player is being connected to USB.
