Default Digital mp4 player 4GB nano ipod-like Half dead??

Hi everybody,

i've got a white nano-like i-pod with "menu" on the top of the control panel.
I've put inside something like 80 mp3, It's works nice but now Windows recognize it as a mass storage USB (removable disk) of 1Mb??
So even if it still working properly when the player is not connected i can't put any music or video anymore because Windows ask me to format it (in FAT) and then, Windows mention "impossible to format" when i try to.

So i've tried to upgrade the firmware with included
program on the mini cd, but it shows "devices not connected"
i've tried with different computers and different usb entry the same problem occured..
i've tried also to press the [on/off] switch to the "off" position.
Leave it off for a while then switch "on" again..... same matter..

Disk Manager shows it as a connected removable 1mb disk...

any ideas?

How do i know wich is the integrated chipset?

Thanks for helping me! :P

ZooL, Open the MP3 Player Disk Tool which is part of MP3 Player Utilities and go to the Partition Encrypt tab and move the slider all the way right then back all the way left and press start. This will rebuild the partiton. On your player go to Settings>Online Mode and make sure it is set to Normal Only.

4GB? Where'd you get that? Might want to test writing and reading files. It could be a fake.
