Default Looking for a firmware...

Hi,

I need a firmware for 1G S1 MP3 player. When I bought it, v3.5.35 was loaded. The mainboard sign is 2051, i can post serial number later, when I get home, if it helps.

I'm looking all over the net, but I can't get a working firmware, and lately I'm somehow starting to lose patience with it...

Any help, please? please? please please please?

zok , so far i can only find one ATJ2051 chipset firmware dump Here. But it is of a memory stick kind, so unless your player is a memory stick type, don't try this firmware.

Also, there is a thread by Kivin which he/she kindly consolidated a whole list of firmware download links Here. You might want to try your luck there.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

i tried, but it doesn't go. this happens:

Click the image to open in full size.

and yes, I DID unzip it, although it's not seen on the screenshot.

it happened to many versions of firmware I tried to upload, and I don't see where the point is. any experiences, why would that happen?

other links are quite useless to me, because I don't understand russian.. :?

the signs on the mainboard are:
WMG-M30C-ATJ2051
06-07-01 V1.0

it looks exactly like THIS ONE.

the manufacturer is Wilson Co. ltd.

i tried at least 20 different versions, and there's no a single one that would work...

raziel , what groovy meant was to open your player and look for the processor's serial number, eg ATJ2085H or something similiar. Then go to the downloads section and look for similiar firmware dumps to try.
As long as your player can be detected by the Upgrade Tool, keep trying all the firmware dumps. No one is able to tell which firmware is suitable for which player, it is all a matter of luck.
