Tried everything...NO ADFU position yet
 

I really can't prepare windows to ADFU (recovery state) position. My player is always recongizable as disk drive, actuall two drives (F: and G:). I tried also to uninstall drivers of Usb device and then put player again in usb and is the same shit. I have the right firmware, but if I upgrade my driver (as a flash drive) the mp3 upgrade tool tells me that is invalid firmware file.

My ID number is MP-693C-SL MAIN v.1.3. 20051214
So I found firmware (dumb.bin) exactly for this ID on http://www.s1mp3.org.

So what can I do? Please help me, I would really appreciate. Jaka

DO NTO UPLOAD IT ON , since you backup your old firmware.. !!!

Unless there is a major problem with your player do not try upgrading the firmware, doing so coukld kill your player permenantly.

Have a browse through the dead player forum, 99% of these posts are from firmware ugrades.
