Need FW 9.0.48
 

I still have a half dead player (Is recognised as a mass storage disk) but need 9.0.48 FW. Does anyone out there have it.

Greetings:

I just recieved a new MP4 Player, and everything works, except for video files.

I've visited the forum section of mympxplayer website where you can download the software program called"AMV Convert Tool 4.05".
But I can't download the program, because it doesn't show up on the page.

Where can I download it. send me a link or the file.

The MP4 Player I have has a 1.5 inch screen, its white and 4 gigs space.

Everything works, except when I insert a video file as a MP4 format, or convert it with either AVS Video Converter, or AVS DVDToGo.

When I open my MP4 and try go to menu of AMV, and try to open the video file it states, "Empty Disk"

What am I doing wrong?

When I connect the MP4 to my computer via USB, in the players files should there be a folder with title Video, AMV, or what?

I noticed that after I used the Voice recorder the Player created a folder
called Record. Should this happen when I upload a video file to the player too?

Firmware in this MP4 player is : 9.0.48
Other information: LSD_9101_20
Dates: 2006-10-21 and 2005-01-09

If I have to reinstall the firmware, does anyone have it, and second can anyone give step by step instructions on how to install it.

Can anyone help!!!!!!

MAN DO NOT REINSTALL YOUR FIRMWARE !!!!
ONLY WHEN YOU BACKUP IT BY USING GUIDES HERE, YOU CAN TRY AFTER... BUT I DNOT THINK IT IS A PROBLEM OF FIRMWARE

May I ask what exactly is the problem then.

Can you inform me on how I can trouble shoot my problem.

It seems the instruction manual is very complexe, and written in very very very small size fonts.

If I there something I have to do to make the player see Video files at least tell me Step by Step what I should do.

Got mine yesterday.
4GB turned out to be 2GB
My backup file FW: ACT_V9.0.48 ===> 9.0.48
Got samsung NAND: K9LAG08UOM-PC80 witch is 16 Gbit
ATJ 2091H

You don't belive there is a ATJ2091H chip in it?

If anyone finds a way to back-up the 9.0.48 firmware please upload it so we can use it.For people that got working mp4 players with 9.0.48 firmware try back-ing it up by using atj upload beta 4.0 maybe it will work.Please help us guys...we really need this firmware . :(

Currently, Atj and S1FWX are not able to backup 9.0.48 FW.

i did extract the dump with
S1fwx tools.

But what is the diffirence between a dump file, and de fw?
And how do I get the right FW of my mp4 player?

Wel the only way is to ask the developers of ATJUpload to support 9.0.48

I'm in the same corner as you all. I did a firmware downgrade to 9.0.43 and my player went dead. I tried to flash it with older versions but without any succes. So I'm also waiting for a full firmware dump v9.0.48

So lets try to motivate the creators of ATJUpload on http://forum.easydigi.com to support 9.0.48.
There is only one problem: I can't read Chinese :roll:

I`ve had an ideea like yours and e-mailed the creators of s1wfx and they said that it was in progress...so this morning i saw a new release from them... anyone tryed it ? :?:

To bad: dosen't support 9.0.48

Because of it's limitations it is doubtful that s1fwx will be upgraded to include 9.0.48 firmware however "wiRe" is currently working on a new tool that will extract the firmware from any player that uses the ADFU process.
