abdietea, If your player is not recognised by the Mp3 Upgrade tool you will need to follow the Dead Player Recovery Guide HERE to reset your player.
|
And I am sorry... your player is not 4GB... it has less memory.. no nano fake has 4gb now...
BE CAREFULL on battery wires... I broke mine :D |
WTF ??? I replied !!!! and listen to TaDaD !!!

Re: "USB not recognize" and my player keeps restar
I have following "Dead Player Recovery Guide" and the upgrade is succes but My player still Blue Screen. When i want to upgrade FW with my original dump but my computer said "Invalid Firmware".... Whats Wrong..
How to merge Full FW with dump FW?....... :( |
abdietea, Did you repair the original dump when you extracted it?
|
Re: "USB not recognize" and my player keeps restar
tadad1, would U guide me to repair & merge my dump FW?..
Thank U   |
Re: "USB not recognize" and my player keeps restar
abdietea, I have uploaded a copy of s1fwx with all the batch files you will need HERE
Extract the folder and put your dump.bin into it ( it must be named dump.bin) and run the repair.bat. If you did not repair your dump when you extracted it it should be ok now and you can try to load it to your player. If you get an error message when you run the repair.bat the dump has either been repaired already or contains errors and you will not be able to use it. To do a merge you need to place your repaired dump into the folder (named dump.bin) and a full version firmware (named full.bin). Running the merge.bat will extract all the files from your dump and load then into the full version firmware overwriting any files that already exist with the same name. You will then get a file called merged.bin which is the merged full version of your dump. This does not always work and you may have to try merging your dump with a few different full version. Hopefully you will end up with a working full version of your players firmware. Make sure when you repair or merge firmware that you only use copies of the original files. If you use the original and destroy it you have lost it. Hope this helps. |
Re: "USB not recognize" and my player keeps restar
@Abdietea, gue punya problem yang sama nih. kebetulan gue lupa backup dump filenya. Bisa gak dump lo di upload disini? Deskripsi device lo apa aja?
I have the same problem with Abdietea, unfortunately i don't have a backup dump. I have exactly the same nano like player with 8Gb mem. But it turns out to 233MB when i was formating it with MP3 Disk tool. My device desc: Proc : ATJ2085W Mem : Hynix HY... 82G8M Firmware : LISONG LSD_501_02 SDK : 35.3.7 ON left lcd Panel : FC034E LKD060408 I am trying to fix the memoryby upgrading the firm ware (What was i thinking? :( ) After one and another i found 35.3.7_v2.1b here and it succesful but no interface. Its shows only blue screen till' now. And my computer didn't detect it at all. |
SintoX, You need to follow the Dead Player Recovery Guide to reset you player so Windows and the Update tool will detect it again.

Yes, thank you tadad1. I will follow the guide. I am waiting Abditea to upload his dump.
Is there any way to "regain" the memory capacity? |
SintoX, It is not possible to regain the lost space on a hacked chip because it was never really there in the first place. I would say the true size of your memory chip is 256MB. Once the hack is removed and the chip is showing it's correct size there is no way to reset the hack.

abdietea, Not all players have Games and Telbook. I would say the firmware you have used to recover your player is from a player that does not have games or telbook.
For your double file problem try doing a Low-Level format with the MP3 Disk Tool. |
sukhpal35, Please start a new post for your problem.
