Default lost memory


i have a 4gb ipod nano clone and from 4gb i can only see 108 mega i must have done something .. pls what should i do to fix it? installing another firmware seems not to help... pls reply fast.. thanks!

dandwd, Sorry to be the one to tell you but you have a hacked player the true size of your chip looks to be only 128MB. Crooked dealers use small memory chips and apply a hack to them so that they read as much larger. At the moment the largest memory that these players are able to support is 2GB.
If you want to confirm your players true chip size you will need to open your player and check the memory chip serial number against this list of Samsung and Hynix chips.

u r right.. 128 mega man 10x a lot.. at least now i know to stop searching about this stupit fake ipod.. these chinese r so lame.. i;m pissed of!.. 10x man again.. if it wouldn;t have been 4 u i thing i would have gone to crazy ppl hospital soon... take care! peace!
