Memory Lost!! Hacked Player?

Hi,

i bought a 2 GB MP4 Player from Hong Kong. It works fine and I had stored more than 800Mb (2GB shown in WINXP, with 1,2 GB free) on it......but then I have formatted the player with the MP3 Player tools.
And after that the Memory is only 483MB......

is the player hacked? How can I restore the Memory to 2 GB?

Most likely it is a hacked player and the true size is 512meg. (I had 3 myself)
If you can refund it I suggest you do so.
Please let us know who you got it from so others will not make the same mistake.

Al cadizaar, I agree with "avionik99" to confirm you rplayers chip size open the player and check the serial number of the memory chip against these Samsung and Hynix chip specs.
