I have tried to upgrade frimware but it did not help...I have charged it for like 4h and nothing.....

What can I do? Please help, im crying :(

nanocopyuser , before you upgraded the firmware, did the player display "low power" and shutdown everytime you turn off the AC supply or remove the usb cable?

What firmware did you use to upgrade? Was it your original backup firmware, or download from the forum?

And I can start the mp4, but I cant use any buttons, like after 10 seconds, it comes up "low power" and shuts down....

I paid $80 so im crying, 14 years old and no cash

Please help me :(

Maybe its the batery? I bought it new...It wont charge...

nanocopyuser, The charge problem may be a faulty usb cord try to find another one to test.

nanocopyuser 30th Nov 2006 2:25 pm

No, I don't think that thats the problem. I have tried with both USB and regular charger. The batery is charging in the display. But then when I unplug the cable, it says Low power, bye and shuts down. I didn't charge it to much. I charged it about 3h when I got it and it seemed to work. Maybe the batery is "old" and is dead? I have tried to formate it too.

Thanx, btw, my name is Dima :)

Dima , likely that the battery is old/dead. i'll suggest that you contact your seller about this and get a replacement player or a refund.

I think that the battery is dead too. I have emaild them and I will get my money back soon. :) And I don't want a new mp4, the quality sucks :(

Thanx fo help all!

Re: Mp4 Help needed :(

Dima , the player can be turned on/off by two ways. There is 1 slide switch on either the top or side of the player, and also by the play/pause button.
You'll need to ensure that the slide switch is at the on position to be able to charge. Whether the player is playing music or not does not matter, but the slide switch is most important.

There are no differences between using AC adaptor or USB to charge. But usually the USB method is recommended as there were some cases of others who "fried" their players using the AC adaptor.

Lol. My charged kinda exploaded and died. xD

Good news, talked to the seller by mail, sended back the mp4, got my cash back (not shipping cash tough)

:)

I have bought a DENVER MPG-1011 "mp4" 1gb, it has music, video, pic's...costed me about 90 dollars. And it works great, had it for 5 days....

Pic and more info here:

Great earphones, GREAT batery, can listen for like 20h :o High quality..very good video quality...a lot more recommended than these cheap mp4 players.
:)

nanocopyuser , nice player. It uses a Sigmatel chipset, and usually it performs better than as compared to the common Actions chipset.
