kingv, I doubt the problem is with the firmware. If you have tried all the full version firmware for the 2085 and none of them have taken your player out of recovery mode then there is a problem with the upgrade process.
Lets try some thing different. Go to the MP3 Player Utilities folder then go to the RDisk Update folder. If there is a folder named recover delete it. Create a new folder named recover. Select one of the full version firmware and place it in the recover folder then rename it $actsdk$.fw. Be sure you use a full Version Firmware not a dump. Connect your player and wait a few seconds for it to connect then open the upgrade tool. Now there should already be upgrade firmware information in the second window, do not select a new firmware just press the upgrade button. Now hopefully this will bring your player out of recovery mode. If it does not try the same process with a different Full Version Firmware.
If your player continues to be stuck in recovery mode uninstall the MP3 Player Utilities and install a different version and repeat the above process.
