Hmm...hard to explain this
end up with a blue scree...
any solutions to that.. the only firmware that actually made some sort of progress...was this one.. the "http://www.mympxplayer.org/3537-df346.html" its version was 3.5.37.. it showed this: http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/5...ture005xc0.jpg any solutions to this problem...i mean like...better firmware that would work because i cant seem to find the right firware...sad thing is that i didnt make a backup file :( |
..::Felix::.. Sadly the recovery process is just a matter of trial and error to find a suitable firmware.
There are so many variations of each version of firmware now that it is not possible to recommend one which will recover your player. It took me over 3 months and more than 70 attempts to recover one of my players. Some members have reported that they have succesfully used a firmware that previously failed after uninstalling MP3 Player Utilities and installing a different or newer version. |
Re: Hmm...hard to explain this
If your player is a 1.8" you can try this one here.
http://uploaded.to/?id=756e3b Dave How do you upload your firmware to the firmware forum at this website? |
Re: Hmm...hard to explain this
gosh...3 month...
but the sar thing is that it isnt mine...it my friends... and i have to give it back to him in 2 week... he said to update it... i was hoping for a solution this is what it was installed with: "Device Name: S1 Mp3 Player Productor: Wilson Co. Ltd. Version: 3.5.35" I installed the newer version the 3.5.37 and then the screen problem...:( then i installed the previos version..it was the 3.5.35 and then screen went blue... no loading screen or any thing :/ need firmware Really Really Despretly :( and btw i am trying the firmware that u guys posted... and its the blue screen...:( |
Re: Hmm...hard to explain this
..::Felix::.. , it is almost impossible to tell you which firmware will work with your player. There could be hundreds or even thousands of 3.5.35 varants and likewise for the 3.5.37 too.
What you can only do now is to try every single firmware in the downloads section for your screen size until you hit the right one. But, it is also not a 100% success rate, it is all a matter of luck. |
Re: Hmm...hard to explain this
f***...so yeh...ur saying its almost impossible to find any thing simmular...

Re: Hmm...hard to explain this
..::Felix::.. , there are various reasons for the blue/lighted-black screen. Basically, what i've just found (i just merged some firmware) is that the UI30.res file causes it. It might be other files, i'm still not sure.
But generally, such screens means that the GUI is wrong and the player is unable to process the image files used for backgrounds. However, if you can still remember the key-presses to operate the player, you can still access them normally, only can't see anything. |
if u have a good eye...u can see some thing...
other wise...all firware provided on the site are all blue screen like... although... i have it untill tomorow.. i told my friend that the mp4 player isnt working properly...so i am buying him a new one...(or u guys can help) by buying this one and posting the firmware...:) Edit: what i mean is that...is there any firmware that is gonna be relitive to this one..... but only with the fixed umm.,...u know...stripes cause the screen is too bright and the annoying black stripes make seeing stuff alot harder... |
