Read or write device information failed!Please exit the program and check if device is connecting.

This is what i get when i try to recover my firmware....I have the back-up copy ( dump.bin ) of my original FW which i obtained by following steps 1-15 from the "how to backup ure firmware guide". I tried upgrading my firmware from 2 different computers, different USB ports...different versions of the program.... WHAT TO DO? Wait for your fast replies pls.Thank you guys.

i had a problem like that and i put the dump file on C: drive "not in a folder" then loaded it and it worked

Pissy, This can sometimes be caused by a poor connection in one of your memory chip pins. Try cutting pieces of thin card about the same size as your memory chip and place 3 or 4 layers on top of the chip then replace the backing of the player. The idea is that you want enough card thickness so that with the player closed the casing places an even pressure down on the memory chip. then try uploading your dump again.
