yess ...i have formattted it after upgrading to the 3.5.35 firmware that u had put up in the firmware forum....now its working as a flash disk...and i guess i can atleast use it as a portable storage disk....:D if it doesnt work....what do i upgrade to the player to make it working now????i mean to use it as a player now.....what firmware or sump file??please guide withe steps...thaks tadad1

i have formatted it before as FAT ....do u want me to low level format it with the tool u gave????

jaidagr8st, No if you have managed to remove the write protection great. Now your problem is finding the right firmware for your player. Sadly there are literally 100's if not 1000's of variations in the different firmeware versions and it is not possible to tell you which will work with your player and which will not. You need to try as many firmware as you can find that suit your LCD screen size.
