2inch TFT, 1GB, BL-4C battery, CTW500

Hi there, i have successfully recovered my MP4, now i can connect it to pc in ADFU mode, but canīt find a working firmware.. The original was 9.0.43. There are many of this version (not for this player) but donīt work.

Could you send me a link with full f.w. or send me your own f.w.?

Thanks 8)

(the player: 2inch TFT, 1GB, BL-4C battery, cpu: CTW500, memory: Samsung K9L8G08UOM PCB0, image: my avatar. I think there is some "lucky draw action" on the web where it is called GLACIER)

try this but only after you have used a full firmware www.brucedunton.com/stuff/dumpOsm.rar

h42k, Try loading one of the Full version 9.0.43 firmware in the download section. It will not recover your player but it will allow you to then load a dump file to your player. There is a dump from a similar player here:

Iīve allready tried this dump: http://www.mympxplayer.org/working-d...hip-df414.html
but without success. I load the dump into the player but then the player cannot conect to pc. But the dump seems to be the right one for my player??

h42k, I have a 1.8 9.0.43 and I have 2 full version firmware for it they are both identical in every way except for 2 files within the firmware that have the same name but different checksums. One works on the player one kills it. These firmware onl;y need to have the slightest of differences and they do not work.
I know that there are other members with these players, have a look through the galley, a couple have posted pictures of their players there, I suggest you PM them ask if they would send you a copy of their firmware.
Try "TwoGame" and "Lejigabou" for starters.

Well guys, the problem was as you wrote. The version of MP3 Utilities. I used 4.05 and it never fixed my player. But today i recovered with 4.07 and it run with firmware for absolutely different player 8)

My advice: Donīt underestimate upgrading the Tools!

Thanks.
