ADFU Mode...goes to 20% and freezes...help??

well, if fixed mine...and now its in ADFU Mode...
well i know how i broke it this time:
here is what i done wrong...

1. i switched it off
2. the bye bye screen comes up.
3. before the bye bye screen finishes i switch it off from the "Off / On" switch on the top of the player.

this caused it to go to ADFU mode...
this time i backed up my firmware...
but when i load it back to the player...
it goes to 20% and freeezes??...any ideas??...any Sudgestions??
oh and btw. i am using M.P.U 4.00 and 4.07
(M.P.U = Mp3 Player Utillities)
both of them freez for some reason...cant go beond 20% saying "Downloading The Restorable Main Program". Please guys help

and i dont want it to be the forth one...  :(

..::Felix::.., If your player is in ADFU mode then it will only accept a full version firmware. There is a section for them in Downloads. The full version does not need to be an exact match and will more than likely not fully recover your player but you should then be able to load your backup dump.

ahh...i see
so the firmware file has to have the ".FW" extention not the ".BIN" extention right??
i think i got one ....just let me have a look...if it works

nah...same thing...
20% and the annoying messege "Downloading The Restorable Main Program".

..::Felix::..
Go to the RDisk Update folder in MP3 Player utilities, if there is a folder called recovery delete it and then try uploading again.

..::Felix::.., Try Uninstalling MP3 Player Utilities and install a different version. try 4.05 or 4.07

actually..i am back where i am started...:(
still...nothing

..::Felix::.., I think there is something freaky going on with your player. Have you tried shorting the memory chip as descibed in the Dead Player Recovery guide. It is like a hard reset and may fix whatever is causing the upgrade to fail.
Is your player visible in Explorer?

i might do it today at night...

EDIT:
