My 4gb MP4 player with samsung 640 chip wont work
 

My 4gb MP3/MP4 player with samsung 640 chip wont work, this is because the other chip which is ATJ2091H overheats and cuts the player out (well thats what i think).

Can anyone help please.

I am also willing to sell it if anyone is interested with offers around £20 i bought it 3 weeks ago and only used it 3 times, has no scratches and has its rubber case and headphones. But ideally i would like to keep it as it so cute. It comes on when connected to pc, the pc recognises the player and lets me add or remove songs/videos from it, i can also open the music files from it and listen to them through the pc. But cuts out after about 10 mins.

I dont know what to do please help.

busta , so the player works properly (ie transfer of files and player functions) as long as it's connected via the USB cable?
But once it's disconnected and runs on it's own, it turns off completely after 10mins?

If this is so, then likely the problem would be the battery. It most probably does not hold it's charge that well. And usually this problem can be solved with a battery change.

No the ATJ2091H chip gets very hot whilst connected to pc and the player turns to the blue screen with the egg timer after 10 mins. It doesnt come on at all when not connected to pc.

busta , if that's the case, then i'll suggest that you contact your seller for a refund or exchange. As it could be a case of faulty components, or excessive power supply to the chip.
