GRRR...my 4th one doesnt charge

well..not copleatly dead but....just doesnt charge...at all
i have put it for 4/5 hours on the "on" mode
and i have put it for 4 hours on the "off" mode

and still it says low power
just wondering...should i get a wall charger for it...cause on this progress i think it wont work at all...
just will act as a screen with buttons and a mass storage device...

this is my last mp4...if nothing works...then i go back to the store
and i get my money back

You certainly have not had a good run. To start the player should always be turned on while charging, the battery can be damaged if the player is switched off while charging. Most charging problems are either battery failure or a USB connection problem.
If the player runs without problem while connected then it is drawing power in which case I would guess the battery has failed. These lithium polymer batteries deterierate with time especially when not being used. Batteries that are old stock could be 12-15 months old before you even get the player so there would be greater odds of failure.
If all 4 players are from the same supplier it may be a batch problem in which case you should get your money back and try another supplier.

If your player is only a recently bought one, I would definately take it into the shop and tell them the problem.

They will have an extra USB cable and perhaps a wall charger for you to test whether the problem is with the cable, the connection in your player or the battery is that is the problem.

At least they will have a bit more resources to find out why it's not charging than you having to try to buy a wall charger and spend more money.

ok...i will go back to strathfield(australia)
and tell them that the player is no good with out a good battery...

thank you guys for helping me out....even if i had bad luck with these players...i enjoyed talking to you people
