Default Need advice - ATJ chip

Hello all, I need some help from those who can give it.

I have an MP4 player that looks like this:

The problem is, when I got it the screen only turn on to a dull blue.
I tried to update the firmware, but after about 6 hrs of screwing it and then repairing it, I'm at square 1.

The original firmware version was 9.0.48.
The only firmware that I can get it to work is 9.0.50, but still no working screen.

The member who's photo I stole is using a 3.5.37 dumpfile, but mine won't let me use it.

Any ideas?

Nutcase, You may have a problem if your firmware was 9.0.48. Most of the firmware available for download are backup dumps that people have done of their players using s1fwx. At the moment there are no tools that will extract a usable firmware above 9.0.43 so there are no backup firmware available for 9.0.48, 9.0.49, 9.0.50. Anyone with a dead player that uses these versions is stuck until the extraction tools become available. Players that use this series of firmware run the newer chipsets from Action like the ATJ2091, ATJ2097, which are not compatible with the 3.5.XX series firmware.
