Partially recovered my player

Hi all, After my player was dead for a long time yesterday I partially recovered it by using Dead player recovery guide.

Now there is a new problem, the player is not detected by mp3 player utilities even though windows recognises it. I can copy files to my player but when I start mp3 player utils I get a message saying that player is not connected. Please help

Ok I told i can see it in the explorer copy files to it, but I even tried to format it as described in the guide, but the format box never comes up. Now can you help me please.

What happens when you double click on the player in Explorer?
Try another USB port.
Also try installing another version of MP3 Player Utilities.
